Why are frogs so important to scientists studying the environment?

Answer:

Frogs get much of their water by absorbing it through their skin. As they absorb water, they also absorb any pollutants that the water contains. This makes them strong indicators of environmental conditions. It also puts them in great danger, and frog populations around the world are declining as a result.
