The information collected by my site is used only for helping me improve the site and providing customer support. I do not sell your information or use it for anything besides customer support.
In order to help me manage and improve the website, the Drupal Content Management System that I use collects the following:
What information my site collects from guest visitors:
Your IP address. This lets me block resource-intensive bots or web crawlers.
The pages you visit. You are identified as Visitor, so I simply see how many Visitors viewed each page.
What information my site collects for Subscribers:
Subscriptions: When you subscribe, the site records the basic order information. This information is used ONLY for customer service, letting me assist you with your account. For this, the site collects the following information:
Billing information: Name, address, city, state/province, country, postal code
Account identification: Assigned customer number, contact email address
The only information that I get is :
1. your payment balance
2. payment method: Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, etc. (NOT credit card number, etc.)
3. Paypal transaction ID
4. The date your order was placed, which determines the expiration date of your subscription
5. What type of subscription you purchased (individual, school, district)
My site also keeps track of the following information:
Password (which is hashed so that I cannot see it)
Your contact email address
The site logs subscribers account activity, logins, IP address, browser, platform, and if you are using a mobile device. This information helps me troubleshoot any problems you may run into using the website.
The website logs your on-site bookmarks to let you quickly find pages you have marked.
The website also logs your approved comments. Comments that are not approved are deleted.
You can see all this information on your account page. Log into the site. Click on the "My account" link in the Navigation menu. You will be able to view your Account Activity, Bookmarks, Login history, Orders, and Track any content you have posted to the site. Under the Edit tab, you can change your Username, contact email, password, and change settings for receiving emails from the site. You can also delete your account by scrolling to the bottom of the page, and clicking the "Cancel Account" button.
If you delete your account, all your information (username, email address, orders, etc.) is deleted. Any comments that you posted are reassigned as Visitor, and you will no longer have access to the subscriber resources on my site.
