Are You Having Problems With the Site?

Start by checking the tips below, to see if they will solve the problem.

• I never got a password.
• I can't log into the website.
• Every time I log in, I have to request a new password.
• I'm having problems watching the videos.
• The website does not display properly. Everything is out of place.

1. I never received my password.

   • If you did not get the email with your password, it may have been caught by your spam filter or blocked by your ISP. They may also be blocking my email responses to your request for help.
     Please email me at : membersupport@krampf.com. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER IN THE EMAIL. IF I CAN'T REACH YOU BY EMAIL, I WILL CALL YOU.
   • If you purchased a coupon code from another site, that is not your username or password. Use the coupon code to set up your account at: http://thehappyscientist.com/1-year-subscription If you need help with that, email me at membersupport@krampf.com

2. I can't log into the website.

   If you are having problems logging in to the site, here are a few quick things to check.

   • Remember that user names and passwords are case sensitive. If your user name is "NewMember" then you cannot log in with "newmember".
   • Be sure that you have cookies enabled on your browser. Your browser needs the subscriber cookie to know that you are logged in. If you need help with that, email me at membersupport@krampf.com

3. Every time I log in, I have to request a new password.

   Follow these steps carefully.

   If you are currently logged in, and you can see "Hi (username), welcome back." at the top of this page:

   1. Click the "your account" link at the top, right hand side of this page. That will take you to your user page.
   2. Look at the top of the page, where it says "Hi (username), welcome back." That is your username, and it is case sensitive.
   3. Leave the Email Address field alone, unless you want to change the email address for your account. This is not your username.
   4. Enter a new password. Remember that like your username, this password is case sensitive. If your password is "Password" then you cannot log in with "password".
   5. If that does not solve the problem, please email me at : membersupport@krampf.com

   If you are not currently logged in:

   1. Click the "request new password" link in the upper right hand side of the page.
   2. Enter the email address you used when you set up your account. If you do not know which email address you used, email me at : membersupport@krampf.com
   3. Fill in the Word Verification and click "Email new password"
   4. CLOSE THAT BROWSER WINDOW.
   5. Check your email. You should receive an email titled Replacement login information for (username) at The Happy Scientist
   6. In that email, you will see a long link, starting with: http://thehappyscientist.com/user/reset/ and followed by a lot of numbers and letters. Click that link, or copy it and paste it into your web browser.
   7. That will take you to the Reset password page. Click "Log in"
   8. Look at the top of the page, where it says "Hi (username), welcome back." That is your username, and it is case sensitive.
   9. Leave the Email Address field alone, unless you want to change the email address for your account.
   10. Enter a new password. Remember that like your username, this password is case sensitive. If your password is "Password" then you cannot log in with "password".

4. I'm having problems watching the videos.

   • If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or 9, be sure that compatibility view is ON. If you are not sure how to do that, go to: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie-9/featu... or email me at membersupport@krampf.com
   • If a video stops playing at some point, and repeatedly keeps stopping there, empty the cache on your browser. Corrupted, partial downloads can be stored in your cache, preventing you from seeing the full video. If you need help with that, email me at membersupport@krampf.com
   • If that does not solve the problem, please email me at : membersupport@krampf.com

5. The website does not display properly. Everything is out of place.

Tell me as much as you can about the problem, such as what web browser you are using, the name of the video that won't play, the page that you found a bad link on, etc.. The more I know about exactly what happened, what browser you are using, etc., the faster I will be able to solve the problem.
