I am going to do this as a part of introducing variables in the scientific method. The control would be the cold water and the independent would be the warm water? I am teaching 5th and 6th grade science for the first time in many years and want to make this year a year that the children learn to love science. I don't want to be a read the lesson and answer the questions teacher but a read the lesson, now lets see what works kind of teacher.
