Why do people say not to purchase dented cans?
Aluminum didn't used to be cheap.
It's interesting that aluminum is now cheaper. A long time ago, aluminum was quite expensive. It was too expensive even for airplanes. I'm talking the early 1900's. Only after we started making pots and pans out of aluminum did the demand increase and drive the price down to the point we could afford to make airplanes out of aluminum.
