Waiting for the Weather

This week's video and newsletter are going to be a little late. Part of that is due to me trying to spend as much time as possible getting the new site set up, but mostly it is due to my stubbornness. It has been raining pretty much nonstop for several days. I put off taping, because the rain and wind sounds were too distracting on tape. Finally, I decided that if it was going to keep raining, I would just do a video on rain. Of course, once I had the script written, the camera set, the microphones tested, and the lighting just right, it stopped raining. The forecast still calls for rain, and there is rain to the north, south, and east of us, but none here at our house in the past 24 hours. I will give it a few more hours, and then go back to my original plan, which means that once everything is set, it will probably start raining again.
